Jason E. Peters, M.D.
Jason Edward Peters, MD, PA, is a family medicine physician serving patients at his private practice in Harlingen, Texas. Dr. Peters has been in practice in Harlingen since 2007.
Dr. Peters grew up in Huntsville, Alabama. He completed his undergraduate studies in 2000 and medical school in 2004 at the University of South Alabama in Mobile. Dr. Peters then completed a residency in family medicine at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He has additional training and certification in hospice and palliative medicine and does side work with a local hospice company. Furthermore, Dr. Peters is the medical director of a local nursing home.
Dr. Peters and his wife have been happily married since 2003, and they have four children. He and his family are actively engaged at their local church. Outside of work, he enjoys singing in the local choir, playing piano, jogging, spending time outdoors, and spending time with his family.
Victor N. Gonzalez, PA-C
Victor Gonzalez, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant at the practice of Jason Edward Peters, MD, PA, serving people of all ages in Harlingen, Texas, and throughout Cameron County.
Victor began his professional education at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in biology. Following graduation, he began teaching biology at Mercedes High School in Mercedes, Texas. After a few years of teaching, Victor decided to pursue a degree in health care. He enrolled at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, and earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies.
Victor speaks English and Spanish fluently. He proudly holds certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). As a physician assistant, he has special interests in preventive care, pharmacological care, and chronic disease management.
When he isn’t at work, Victor enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. Victor loves working out, barbecuing, and rooting for the San Antonio Spurs and the Houston Texans. He’s active in his church and enjoys listening to music.
